Can you share Google Tasks with a team natively?

No. Native Google Tasks does not support sharing lists or boards with other people. Each account has its own private task lists. TasksBoard adds team sharing on top of Google Tasks via shared boards.

Do all team members need a Google account?

Yes. Because tasks sync through the Google Tasks API, every collaborator needs a Google account. Google Workspace accounts work best for business teams.

Can I assign tasks to specific team members?

TasksBoard supports task ownership on shared boards so you can see who is responsible for each card. Native Google Tasks does not have assignees, TasksBoard adds this at the board level.

Is TasksBoard free for teams using Google Tasks?

Yes. The free plan includes shared boards, Kanban view, and Google Tasks sync. Premium plans add larger teams, custom backgrounds, and priority support.

What happens to tasks if a teammate leaves the board?

Tasks remain in each person's Google Tasks account. Removing someone from a shared board revokes their access to the TasksBoard view but does not delete their underlying Google Tasks data.
