Does Google Tasks have a board or Kanban view built in?

No. Native Google Tasks only shows tasks as a flat list or in the Google Calendar sidebar. A board view is not available in the official Google Tasks app. TasksBoard adds this functionality while keeping your data stored in Google Tasks.
