Project deadlines in Google Calendar

Task due dates appear automatically in Google Calendar. Your project milestones are visible in your schedule without any manual entry.

Share the board with your team

Invite collaborators with one link. They see the full project board in real time and all changes sync back to everyone's Google Tasks.

"Always have 101 things to do and this helps me organize and prioritize like no other app can. It syncs to my phone and laptop, and when I add dates to tasks, they automatically integrate into my Google Calendar, which is immensely convenient. I can look at my daily, weekly, and monthly overview in Google Calendar and clearly see how much I was able to accomplish! Great tool indeed. Excited to see how it will evolve over time."

Frequently asked questions

Can you use Google Tasks for project management?

Yes. Google Tasks supports lists, subtasks, due dates, and Google Calendar integration. It works well for lightweight project management. TasksBoard adds a Kanban board view and team sharing to make it a complete project tool.

How do I create a Kanban board with Google Tasks?

Google Tasks does not have a built-in Kanban view. TasksBoard adds one. Sign in with Google, and your Google Tasks lists become Kanban columns. Drag tasks between columns to update their status.

Does Google Tasks support subtasks?

Yes. In Google Tasks you can add subtasks to any task by pressing Tab after creating a task, or by dragging a task to indent it. Subtasks appear nested under the parent task and can have their own due dates.

Can multiple people work on the same Google Tasks project?

Native Google Tasks does not support sharing. TasksBoard adds real-time team sharing on top of Google Tasks. You invite collaborators by email and they join the shared board immediately.

How does TasksBoard compare to Trello or Asana for project management?

TasksBoard is a better choice if your team already uses Google Workspace. It sits on top of Google Tasks so all data stays in your Google account. Trello and Asana require a separate account, separate data storage, and separate logins.

Can I see project deadlines in Google Calendar with TasksBoard?

Yes. Any task with a due date in Google Tasks appears in Google Calendar automatically. TasksBoard does not change this behavior. Set due dates in TasksBoard and they show up in Calendar immediately.

Is TasksBoard free for project management?

Yes. The free plan includes unlimited tasks, Kanban board view, Google Tasks sync, and mobile apps. Team sharing and advanced features like custom board backgrounds are available on paid plans.
